At AIDEA’s Ketchikan Shipyard, Vigor Alaska completed construction of the 280-foot Alaska Class ferry, MV Tazlina.  The Tazlina was placed in the water for the first time on May 16, 2018.  Vigor Alaska began construction of the MV Tazlina, for the Alaska Marine Highway System, in the fall of 2014.  Construction continues on the second Alaska Class ferry, the MV Hubbard
