Richard (Rick) J. Solie, Jr. is an Alaska-based business and public affairs professional with more than 35 years of experience advancing projects across the mining, oil and gas, healthcare, and government sectors. He currently serves as Investor & Community Relations Manager for Tower Hill Mines’ Livengood Gold Project, where he works with industry, community, and government stakeholders to support responsible resource development and long-term economic opportunity.

A former Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly member and presiding officer, Mr. Solie brings practical experience in public policy, infrastructure, energy, and community engagement. His board service with Golden Valley Electric Association, the Alaska Chamber of Commerce, Alaska Miners Association, Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, and other civic organizations reflects a longstanding commitment to strengthening Alaska’s business climate, lowering energy costs, and promoting sustainable economic development statewide. 

Mr. Solie has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
