Hydroelectric

AEA and its federal partners are supporting design and construction of the 2 MW South Fork (Prince of Wales Island), and 800 kW Falls Creek (Gustavus) hydro projects. AEA's power system upgrade program is assisting Atka in developing a hydro project that will supply 270 kW to the community and a fish processor.

AEA owns the Bradley Lake and Larsen Bay hydroelectric projects.

Power Creek Hydroelectric

The Power Creek Hydroelectric Project, operational in 2002,
boosted diesel displacement in Cordova to over 1.2 million gallons in FY03.
